“Malaysia MADANI” boosts the people’s well-being with a spiritual injection

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 2 – The new policy framework for the country known as ‘Building a Civilised Malaysia’ outlines assistance to improve the well-being of the people by injecting spiritual values.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, said “Malaysia MADANI”, is not something new, nor is it an idealism, nor is it a new ‘monument’ to abandon old policies.

”That is more important is the issue of implementation in terms of the idealism of a leader, in this regard Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his views on civil society not more than a quarter of a century ago.

“When he is destined to become the leader of the existing government, of course the government led bregard, and the support of variourties should give appreciation and follow up on the implementation and finally we will see that it brings prosperity to the community,” he told the media.

Ahmad Zahid said that the measure of well-being spoken by the Prime Minister shows that finally the inclusand with of various groups of society, race, religion and even the region is a new appimplementation, people have been waiting for a long time.

“The community that has been receiving help from the government in any form knows that even if this help is continued, there must be a spiritual value to make the community improve its standard of living and not be marginalised.

“This is not something new, but the issue of its implementation must be done with a civil mindset, as mentioned by the Prime Minister. It must be felt by the people as a whole.

“All government departments and agencies, whether at the state or federal level, should understand it, and follow-up should be done to translate the cost-effectiveness of government policy,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil, said Perdana Menyeri has laid the basic framework to bring the work of the Unity Government forward in addition to a mission for Malaysians.

“With the Prime Minister’s speech earlier, it is an effort not only among the ministers but also among the people. Our intention is
to raise the dignity of the country and solve the problems of the people, and the concern given by the Prime Minister is not only for the astonishing numbers but to really solve the problems of all people.”

We also hear messages related to conglomerates and large projects and how to act against any irregularities that have happened before by the authorities.

“This, for me, provides a very good opportunity for a recalibration so that our movement in driving economic growth in a stable political situation will be able to be accelerated after this and the benefits will be enjoyed by the people in the near future,” he said.

He said that after this, all ministries, agencies, and government bodies will begin to examine this document and apply it to policy and implementation for the work of the ministry.

“We at the Ministry of Communications and Digital have a meeting today, and we will examine the books and examine what the Prime Minister announced and the ideas he brought,” he said.
