Super Junior World Tour: Super Show 8’ in Kuala Lumpur

It’s time for Malaysian ELFs to save their money as the legendary Korean world superstar Super Junior, is set to kick off in Kuala Lumpur to meet their fans and supporters in the upcoming “Super Show 8: INFINITE TIME” that will be held at Axiata Arena on March 1!

Hosted by Star Planet, Super Junior is finally returning to their Malaysian fans as a group after six years, in which Super Show 5 last 2013 is their last performance in the said country.

Super Junior fans have warmly welcomed Super Junior in their respective countries and cities, and it is expected that their following schedules will continue to become a sensation among fans who were waiting for them for a long time.

Meanwhile, Super Junior has successfully wrapped up several tours, including the countries of Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and other major cities. And on the 18th and 19th of January, they held their 150th performance in Macau, which is another history for the group after starting Super Show last 2008.

Super Junior, upon debut in 2005, has become one of the most extended and leading Korean pop male group in the Hallyu wave, celebrating their 15th debut anniversary this year. They were popularly known as “Emperor of K-pop,” which also made their way into the international market, as they had their debut in Japan last 2008, where the tour started upon the release of their 2nd regular album.

“Sorry Sorry” which was released in 2009, has become a worldwide trend, remaining as “classics of Kpop,” followed by their other famous tracks “Mr. Simple,” “Sexy, Free, and Single,” “MAMACITA,” “Black Suit,” “Lo Siento” and many more.

Their legacy and standing are already written, and it’s going to be hard to shake it, given their amazing and world-class music, dance, and choreography as well as a massive influence among people.

Last year, they had created another history when they took home the “Song of the Year” award for 14th KKBOX Awards Ceremony, making them the first Non-Chinese group to win in the category. Super Junior charmed the Latin countries as well with their “Lo Siento” track, which enter the Billboard for Latin Popularity.

The eight members of the group: Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun will be returning to the stage, featuring their upgraded stage production and audio-visual effects, bringing the “long lost fairies” of the stage. –THE MALAYA POST
